Kaiserlift, one of Austria\u2019s last remaining single-seat chairlifts. Even the leisurely ride up to 1,256 meters above sea level is an experience in itself.<\/p>\n Once at the top, an impressive view of the Inn Valley unfolds before us. From here, we delve into the history of this region: For centuries, the Inn River was one of Tyrol\u2019s most important trade routes. Long before the railroad was built, riverboats on the Inn transported salt, wood, wine, and many other goods through the valley.<\/p>\n From the mountain station, our trail leads toward Gamskogel. After a pleasant climb, we reach a stunning viewpoint overlooking the Kaiserbach Valley and the imposing rock faces of the Wilder Kaiser.<\/p>\n The trail continues through beautiful alpine pastures, past the Obere Steinbergalm, to the rustic Kaindlh\u00fctte.<\/p>\n Here we enjoy authentic Tyrolean hospitality with regional specialties such as freshly prepared Kaiserschmarrn, homemade
