CANCELLATION POLICY

The client shall not be required to pay the tour guide a cancellation fee if the cancellation is made in writing at least one week prior to the tour date. If the client cancels between 7 and 3 days before the agreed tour date, half of the agreed tour fee shall be payable as a cancellation fee, unless a separate agreement has been made.

If the client cancels less than 3 days before the agreed tour date, the full agreed fee must be paid. The cancellation date and the agreed tour date are included in the calculation of the deadline. The full agreed fee must also be paid as a cancellation fee if the customer does not appear at the agreed meeting point during the waiting period. The cancellation fees stated here are lump-sum penalty amounts that are payable regardless of fault or damage incurred. The cancellation fee is payable separately for each individual tour that is canceled.

WAITING TIMES | If the customer is late, the tour guide is obliged to wait for the customer at the agreed meeting point for one hour. The waiting time is included in the tour duration and thus reduces its length.

The customer undertakes to wait 15 minutes for the tour guide. This waiting time does not affect the scope of the tour. The tour guide undertakes to arrange for a professionally equivalent authorized replacement in the event of unavoidable circumstances. The client must be informed of this as soon as possible.

PAYMENT | Payment is usually made in cash or in advance. Large companies, universities, major travel providers, etc. can of course also book on account. Cash payment generally applies to groups from abroad.

For complex program creations that do not result in a contract, we reserve the right to charge an organizational fee in the current amount of a tour. For large orders spanning several days with a complicated program, we charge a handling fee.

The tour guide is prohibited from recommending to guests referred to him by the client that they place their orders directly with him in future.

Audio and video recordings during the tours are prohibited.
