As a state-certified flight instructor and ambitious cross-country pilot myself, it is my pleasure to supervise groups and travel with you. As a long-standing freelance flight instructor at the Bavarian hang gliding and paragliding school Wolf Schneider, based in Penzberg, I have been able to supervise numerous L-license courses in Penzberg, A-license courses at Markbachjoch, and unique paragliding training trips over the last few years. From Slovenia, Meduno, Bassano, Sicily, Turkey, Castelluccio, and various spots in Greece.

I am delighted to be able to once again assist with the long-established Bassano aviation technology trip in March 2025, with the new flight school owner Max Mayer.
If you are interested, don’t wait too long, because the Bassano Flying Week has always been very popular, flying fun is guaranteed, and it books up quickly.
The focus is on takeoff and landing training via radio instruction, refining grip techniques, perfecting flare, flying the B-license exercises (pitching, rolling, accelerated ear-laying, controlling pitch movement with the speed system, ground handling in suitable conditions, learning to pull up backwards, finding and centering thermals, flying on slopes, etc.).
The course is perfect for getting back into the swing of things after the winter break and starting the new 2025 flying season safely and confidently. I’ll be there at the start with tips and tricks on radio communication, and Max will fly through all the exercises with you and work on your landing technique.

As a freelance flight instructor with 18 years of flying experience and numerous training weeks (L license, A license, and advanced training trips) at various flight schools, I am always interested in accompanying paragliding trips and advanced training weeks as a second instructor. Bassano in particular has become my second home, and I look forward to accompanying your advanced training week.

Private Coaching
Private coaching in the Kitzbühel Alps: If you are interested, I also offer private coaching tailored to each individual pilot. This involves improving takeoff and landing techniques, refining centering techniques—i.e., controlling the bank angle with the outer brake, better weight control, less braking, yet always remaining in contact with your brake, taking off from the mountain, exploring different launch sites with me, including instruction and area information, flying the first short distances together, etc.

Hike&fly Support
Have you always wanted to experience the feeling of hiking up somewhere and flying down, but are very busy with work, live far away from our beautiful mountains, or generally don’t get to fly very often? Would you still like to try a hike & fly experience? Then you’ve come to the right place.
I would be delighted to take you on a moderate hike up the mountain, followed by a flight down. The focus is on the overall experience of hiking and flying. The choice of mountain depends on the current wind and weather conditions, as wind direction and strength are crucial for such activities.
Important note: If you would like to book a guided hike & fly tour, you should be able to launch independently in winds of up to 20 km/h. Launching backwards should also not be a problem for you. Especially after a hike, the launch should not be an additional source of stress for you. Of course, I will guide you during the flight via radio instruction, but launching should not be a problem for you in principle. Thank you for your understanding!
You will be supervised and coached by a state-certified flight instructor and state-certified Tyrolean mountain guide!
