Program highlights:
✓ Day 1 – Arrival in Tyrol: Reception at the airport or hotel, check-in, and dinner together.
✓ Day 2 – Kufstein & Kitzbühel: Guided tour of Kufstein with a visit to Kufstein Fortress. Learn all about the turbulent times under Emperor Maximilian I and the battles between Tyrol and Bavaria. Continue through the Kaiser Mountains to Kitzbühel for coffee and cake. Return to the hotel and dinner.
✓ Day 3 – Rattenberg & Kramsach:
Guided tour of Rattenberg with a visit to the old castle complex and magnificent views over the Inn Valley, visit to the Baroque parish church of St. Virgil and strudel show at the traditional Hacker café. Then on to Kramsach, walk along the idyllic Brandenberger Ache to the Mariathal pilgrimage church and on to the Kramsach sculpture park. Optional: Horse-drawn sleigh ride in Münster in winter. Return to the hotel and dinner.
✓ Day 4 – Ambras Castle & Innsbruck: Tour of Ambras Castle, including the courtyard with its frescoes, stop at Bergisel, guided tour of Innsbruck with the Golden Roof and St. James’ Cathedral. Lunch break, e.g., at the Stiftskeller, or free time. Return to the hotel and dinner.
✓ Day 5 – Salzburg: Full-day excursion to Salzburg: Visit to the Mirabell Gardens, Getreidegasse with Mozart’s birthplace, and the UNESCO Old Town. Afterwards, free time for shopping or exploring. Return to the hotel and dinner.
✓ Day 6 – Departure: After breakfast, departure by bus or transfer to the airport, depending on respective flight times.
